Recognizing that interest in human development often goes beyond direct classroom teaching, the Helen DeVos College of Education offers several degrees that address these interests.
These degrees concentrate on typical and atypical human development but also include specialty areas such as business, Asian studies, deaf studies, and special education. They are increasingly popular and offer an excellent foundation for entry into many professions and for the pursuit of graduate degrees in related fields.
The Helen Devos College of Education offfers five minors (18 hours each). All prerequisites for courses in the minor must be met in addition to the required courses. A minor must include at least 12 unique credit hours
