*People who kept the count of the victims had to carry around white branch to show they could be infected, because they met the family of the dead person.

*The quarantene was locking (boarding windows and doors) everyone in the house for 40 days with no way of getting out with guards at the door basicly killing everyone inside from starvation, dehydration or the plague.
