Hippocampal perfusion and neurovascular coupling in vivo during hypertension and after ischemic stroke
Hippocampal arteriole function and structure in vitro
Hippocampal neuroplasticity and memory
Blood-brain barrier disruption, hippocampal neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration

If you are interested in a career in research or health sciences, it is best to get research experience during your undergraduate education. Our lab is committed to providing our undergraduate trainees with lab experience that will set them up for success in their future endeavors. We are looking for students who are motivated, demonstrate strong work ethic and good communication. Science majors (integrative neuroscience preferred) and those interested in pursuing graduate school and a career in research will be prioritized.
