Mouse Behavioral Scoring

PT_OF_M.11.15: For the wall, I got one time between 1-5 (-1), two times between 5-10 (-4), three between 10-15 (-9), one between 15-20 (-4), one between 20-25 (-5), one between 25-30 (-6), one between 35-40 (-8), and one above 45 (-10). For the middle, I got two times between 1-5 (+2), two between 5-10 (+4), and two between 10-15 (+6). I got 8 tallies (+8). GRAND TOTAL = -27

PT_OF_M.11.16: For the wall, I got one time between 10-15 (-3), one between 15-20 (-4), three between 30-35 (-21), one between 35-40 (-8), one between 40-45 (-9), and one above 45 (-10). For the middle, I got one time between 1-5 (+1), and 5 between 5-10 (+10). I got 4 tallies (+4). GRAND TOTAL =-40

PT_OF_F.11.14: For the wall, I got two times between 1-5 (-2), five between 5-10 (-10), four between 10-15 (-12), two between 15-20 (-8), and three between 20-25 (-15). For the middle, I got six times between 5-10 (+12) and two between 10-15 (+6). I got 12 tallies (+12). GRAND TOTAL = -17

PT_OF_F.11.19: For the wall, I got two times between 1-5 (-2), seven between 5-10 (-14), three between 10-15 (-9), two between 15-20 (-8), one between 25-30 (-6), one between 30-35 (-7), and one between 40-45 (-9). For the middle, I got two between 1-5 (+2), three between 5-10 (+6), and one between 10-15 (+3). I got 13 tallies (+13). GRAND TOTAL = -31

I measured anxiety through the timing of behaviors. The mouse is considered less anxious if it's in the middle and more anxious if it's around the edge/wall. If the mouse stayed close to the wall or ran in circles next to it, I would time that with a stopwatch until it moved away from the wall. Anytime the mouse would enter and stay in the middle, I would time that until it moved back towards the wall. While the mouse was along the wall, if it at any point left the wall briefly to cross over to another section of the wall, I would keep a tally of how many times it did that. Based on the times and tallies, I created a scoring system. When the mouse was along the wall, if it spent 1-5 seconds there, that would get a score of -1, 5-10 would be -2, 10-15 would be -3, 15-20 would be -4, 20-25 would be -5, 25-30 would be -6, 30-35 would be -7, 35-40 would be -8, 40-45 would be -9 and anything above 45 would be -10. When the mouse was in the middle, if it spent 1-5 seconds there it would get a score of +1, 5-10 would be +2, 10-15 would be +3, and so on and so forth. Each of the tallies is scored as +1 point apiece.
