Here is a list of suggested documents to have planned prepared and easily available so various professionals that come into the individual's life (adult or child) could offer the best services tailored to the concerned party's needs in their future.

Letter of Intent (parents can offer critical information about their child to the ones who will care for them when they pass) containing:
A day in [Name]’s life (detailed daily routine)
Preferences: favorite foods, shows, music
Communication methods-AAC device (which software they are subscribed to), sign language, etc.
Behavioral strategies: triggers, calming tools
De-escalation strategies involving law enforcement interactions (refer to Law Enforcement Info under "Plans" tab)
Cultural or spiritual beliefs
Personal goals or dreams
Designated Guardian/Guardianship
Medical Records (check if you need to provide permission for others to view beforehand)
School/IEP
Financial/Trusts (i.e., ABLE accounts or Special Needs Trust)
Individual will be relying on insurance coverage which in turn, requires records of treatment to determine if it is working or not which in turn, determines the client's continued coverage.
It offers the client (adult or child) comfort and routine at a time of difficulty.
