CAPS is a short-term care clinic that provides counseling services to Duke undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. CAPS can refer students to a strong network of area community providers for longer term care.
"DukeReach provides comprehensive outreach services to identify and support students in managing all aspects of their wellbeing. We provide case management services including coordination, advocacy, referrals, and follow-up services for students who are experiencing significant difficulties related to mental health, physical health, and/or psycho-social adjustment."
"Peer for You is a student-run resource that promotes wellbeing by providing the space for undergraduate students to reach out to peers for support and referrals. Students can reach out to our Peer Responders, who are trained by CAPS and DuWell, about anything from academic stress and homesickness to rush and student life. Peer Responders are here to provide support, refer students to other resources when needed, and offer the point of view of a peer."
"DuWell helps students focus on their individual wellness by looking at the integration of many areas of their life, including financial, social, spiritual, intellectual, mind-body well-being, and the environment around them. "
"The Duke University Women's Center is dedicated to helping every woman at Duke become self-assured with a streetwise savvy that comes from actively engaging with the world. We welcome men and women alike who are committed to gender equity and social change."
"We believe performing academically, socially, and physically should never come at the expense of your broader wellness. Stop by and learn how you can pursue wellness and flourish on campus, and beyond."
"Student Health is the primary source for a wide range of healthcare services for all Duke Students, many of which are covered by the student health fee. We are here to provide evidence-based, patient-centered health care to our campus community in a professional and compassionate manner that directly contributes to the student's well-being and overall success."
"The Arts Annex is a hub of Duke’s student art scene and houses studio arts (including ceramics, screen printing, and visual arts), rehearsal, and programming spaces. We strive to build a vibrant community by providing resources, programming, and a welcoming environment that inspires self-expression, exploration and collaboration."
**NOCD has partnered with Duke University to provide students with OCD or anxiety disorders with live, face-to-face, video therapy sessions amidst the updates regarding COVID-19.
