Our Halloween meeting everyone learned what is happening in our brains when we feel fear, what phobias are, and the development of in-group paranoia. We also had lots of candy filled activities planned.

During this meeting we explained who we are as a club and what to expect for the rest of the quarter. We explained that this quarter is going to be filled with a lot of interesting information that we will help you navigate your way through. Our club is dedicated to helping all of you. We'd be more than happy to see you all in our meetings. Meet new friends, connect with people with similar majors, and reach for help and advice. Free food and free knowledge, nothing beats that!

This was an introduction to what the club is about and things we can possibly do with it. We hope you will come because we’d like to get to know you and hear your ideas about what you think we should do with the club as well. Afterward, feel free to stay to study for your finals and/or get to know other club members and prospective members. We will be providing some snacks for everyone who shows, so take advantage of the free food. If you wish you could come, but there is a time conflict, or other scheduling difficulties, we can send you our powerpoint along with any information that you missed in this first meeting.
