Diversity is very much at the core of the proposed workshop, in its nature that aims to bring together researchers from various research fields under the umbrella of neural fields. Hence during the selection of organizers and speakers, we actively pursued all forms of diversity, ranging from gender, race, nationality, affiliation, seniority to scientific background. Firstly, among organizers and speakers, range from Ph.D. candidates to assistant and full professors, covering the full range of academic seniority. Secondly, we invite speakers from various institutions, including academia, industry and startups, and from a range of research fields including biology, applied mathematics, physics, robotics and computer vision. Finally, our organizing team is a balanced mixture of those with extensive experience organizing workshops and those with limited or no experience.

We aim to provide an inclusive and hybrid workshop experience that provides both in-person and virtual opportunities for the attendants. We understand that accessibility across time zones is challenging for the virtual component of the workshop. Hence we plan to offer both synchronous and asynchronous formats that allow wide participation. In particular, we will require both invited speakers and authors giving contributed talks to make pre-recorded videos available in advance, allowing all participants to watch the recordings at their preferred time, with the accepted papers published on the workshop website. We aim to provide a live-stream of invited talks accessible to registered participants and enable questions to be asked either live, via a dedicated video conferencing tool (e.g. Zoom) or through a Q&A App with upvote function (e.g. sli.do). We will also provide a slack channel for workshop participants via the already existing neural-fields community slack workspace.
