Submissions

Here is the official Call for Participation

We invite research proposal summary (analogous to what you would submit for a NSF proposal) from senior graduate students (who are within 1 year from the completion of their Ph.D. degrees) and early-career Ph.D. graduates (who received their Ph.D. degrees within the last 3 years).

Interested participants should submit a document containing the following information:

  1. One-page research statement in the given NSF-summary style format broadly outlining applicant’s research interests, in addition to giving some details on at least one specific problem the applicant is working on or proposes to work on within the broad research area of networking. For the specific research problem described, the applicant should clearly explain the research challenges and argue why the proposed approach is promising. (see a skeleton template below)
  2. Two-page bio-sketch of the applicant, following the NSF biographical sketch guidelines (see an example template as a reference)
  3. One paragraph describing how the applicant believes attending the workshop would be beneficial to advance his/her research career.

Please submit (PDFs of these documents) at: https://netsearlycareer17.hotcrp.com/

(Incomplete applications will not be considered)
