Oma Computers Ltd operates the NetDiagnostician mobile application (the "App"). We prioritize the privacy and security of our users. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding data collection, usage, and permissions.

1. Data Collection & Usage

NetDiagnostician is designed as a zero-bloat, privacy-focused network utility.

• No Personal Data Collected: We do not collect, store, harvest, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII), such as your name, email address, phone number, location history, or contact lists.

• Network Query Processing: When you execute a public IP lookup or ping latency test, the App sends anonymous network requests directly to public endpoints (such as open IP geolocation APIs and standard DNS servers). These requests contain only the standard technical data necessary to complete the diagnostic test and are not stored or linked to your identity.

• Local Processing: All internal IP calculations, interface state logs, and subnet parsing are performed locally on your physical device. No diagnostic logs are uploaded to our servers.

2. Permissions Requested

• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to determine whether your device is connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data, and to execute user-initiated DNS ping requests and public IP lookups.

• Location Access (Optional/Conditional): Modern Android operating systems require local network permissions to read Wi-Fi network names (SSIDs). The App accesses this interface parameter strictly to display active link status on your dashboard and does not track or store your physical geographic location.

3. Third-Party Services

The App queries public API endpoints strictly to fetch network metadata (e.g., public IPv4 address, ISP name, and country). These external providers process requests in accordance with standard internet protocol communications and do not receive any user tracking metrics from our App.

4. Children’s Privacy

Our App does not collect any user data and fully complies with global child privacy regulations, including the Google Play Families Policy. It is safe for users of all ages.
