2026 4-H Shooting Sports Nebraska Shotgun Championship 

All 4-H members who are enrolled in the 4-H shotgun  program for 2026 may compete.  Any interested 4-H member/family is encouraged to attend and explore shotgun. No one may register for the State 4-H Competition if they are actively participating on a Collegiate  Shotgun Team or on a professional shotgun Team. Competitors found guilty will forfeit all awards and their paid entry fee.

Novice Division,  Saturday September 12th

      8:00 AM - Beginner Clinics

  Allows new shooters to see new disciplines such as Sporting Clays Trap, and/or Skeet $30 entry fee per contestant

             1:00 PM-Competition

                       Novice Division (50) Trap, (50) Skeet & (50) Sporting Clays $60 entry fee per contestant by early deadline (September 2nd). Late Fee -$25.

Intermediate and Advanced Division, Sunday September 13th 

              8:00 Competition 

         Intermediate Division (50) Trap, (50) Skeet & (50) Sporting Clays $60 entry per  contestant by early deadline (September 2nd). Late Fee - $25.

         Advanced Division (50) Trap, (75) Skeet & (75) Sporting Clays $70 entry fee per contestant by early deadline (September 2nd). Late Fee - $25.

Top four eligible Advanced division shooters are expected to represent Nebraska at the 2027 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships in Grand Island, Nebraska June 20-25, 2027
