So we asked our readers to tell us about their favourite classic books. The resulting list of must-reads is a perfect way to find inspiration to start your classics adventure. There's something for everyone, from family sagas and dystopian fiction to romances and historical fiction.

Updated for Clarity: The rest of my forms are fine on other lists. This only happens if I swithch "Rating System" on. It switches to SharePoint Classic. But only the form. And "Form Dialogue" is selected as yes in advanced settings. It still only opens Edit / View / New forms in the Classic Experience instead of opening a Form Dialogue box.

Has anyone got a fix for this yet? Turning off the 'ratings' option does not return the form to modern view. It seems once you have selected 'ratings', the form is locked in classic view even if you turn ratings off later.

I have a couple of SharePoint list that will not exit classic experience. I have the link to do it, but when I click on it, it will refresh the page and still show classic experience. Something is messed up with the list, but I can't figure out what it is. Does anybody have a clue? Thanks!

In addition, it "might" be related to Office 2016. Before our company moved to Office 2016, SharePoint List created by Export from Excel fully supported the "exit from classic experience". However, that might be completely unrelated and just a coincidence.

@Ryan Kohn : I presume, there might be some customization happened on Display Form (Allitems.aspx), if any customization happened in Display form then SharePoint will not allow user to view the list in Modern Experience.

I have a couple of SharePoint lists that will not exit classic experience. I have the link to do it, but when I click on it, it will refresh the page and still show classic experience. And the list Item contains more than 51,000 and display open on SharePoint on-premises grouped by (x column ) but not on SPO

SOLUTION: Add ?contents=1 to the end of the page URL in your browser address bar. This will take you to the Web Part Page Maintenance page. Are there any closed web parts on the page? Delete those web parts. Return to the page. You should now be able to exit the classic experience.

Hi John -- The classic story map templates went into extended support in September 2021 and were removed from the default template gallery in December 2021. It's recommended that you use ArcGIS StoryMaps for all new projects. The explorer tour block of ArcGIS StoryMaps is similar to the classic Shortlist template.

Most games available across the different PlayStation Plus game libraries are available to download to your PS4 or PS5 console*. The Classics Catalog also features a wide selection of classic PlayStation 3 games that are available via streaming only. PlayStation Plus Premium members can also choose to stream games from the Game Catalog and Classics Catalog to their PS4 or PS5 console or to a PC.

Cloud streaming is a PlayStation Plus Premium benefit available on PS4 and PS5 consoles as well as PC. Select the streaming option from a game listing and you should be able to play after a short wait. You can view PC streaming requirements here.

New to Battletech, and I was looking at the following site: It looks great, but I only seem to be able to see alpha strike cards. Does the site have the classic record sheets as well? If so, how would I go about seeing them.

The default experience for most list and document libraries has changed. The new, modern experience is recommended for most lists and libraries. It is faster, has simpler navigation and allows you to accomplish many common tasks more easily. However, you may want to switch the default experience for everyone to the classic experience.

The following steps change the default experience for everyone. To use the classic experience just for yourself, select Return to classic SharePoint in the bottom, left corner of the page. To exit, select Exit classic experience.

You can activate the site collection feature SharePoint Lists and Libraries experience to set the classic experience as the default for an entire site. For more info, see How to enable or disable site collection features.

Microsoft has been updating the look and feel of SharePoint Online in regards to lists and libraries. Our implementation of SharePoint (called Insider) has been using the "Classic" layout. The newer "Modern" layout will more closely resemble the interface that OneDrive users have grown accustomed to.

The actions menu found in list items, files, and folders gives users the option to rename, view version histories, download, delete, and more all from one location. Learn how to access the actions menu in the Modern layout.

NOTE: Editing properties from the actions menu has changed in the Modern layout. See the next section for details.

And just to add. If you already have someone on your Bnet friends list that rolls the other side you can talk to them. Also if you add them in live for example. But no right clicking opposing faction to invite.

Customers engage with your business in many ways and email is just one of them! Your full contact list is used for many things inside your application...tracking customers projects, sales pipeline, email lists, and content engagement. The full contact record of your customers is important to your business, it tracks your history with your customers. But, what if some of your contacts just don't engage with you via email? They call, they text, they view your website, they buy services...but they don't prefer email? That's ok! Tailoring how you communicate to your customers is an important part of running a small business and helps you focus your emails on customers who regularly engage with your content.

List hygiene is the practice of continuously cleaning or maintaining a contact list to ensure all email addresses are actively engaging with your content and are receiving your content without issues. Regular maintenance removes disengaged addresses from your marketing list and decreases your risk for spam traps, spam complaints, and invalid hard bounces.

List hygiene is the practice of continuously cleaning an email list to ensure all addresses are active and deliverable. Regularly implementing this process every few months removes disengaged addresses from your marketing list, which decreases your risk for spam traps, complaints, and invalid hard bounces.

Racer registration opens on January 2nd and closes on March 31st. As each of the 55 Competition and 5 Non-competition Team entry slots are filled with an accepted entry, the Racer List will be updated with information on that Team. If a Team purchases a race number, it will show on the list. All other Teams will be assigned race numbers after the drawing for numbers 1 through 10, which takes place this year on February 4th. Check back often for updates!

Hi all - does anyone know how I can customize the default visible/available columns (list layout) of a related list (tabs at bottom of a record) on a custom table in the Classic UI?

The custom table has user data records and the related list shows catalog items for where the user is "requested for" and I have set up the related list as a Relationship and have results filtered via the "Query with" script.

This is all working great, but I would like to customize the columns of the related list and I'm really struggling to see how/where I do this. I have found great resources and instructions for configuring the list layout for Workspaces and reference field pop-ups...but nothing on related lists specifically. Right now it's showing the Default View list layout and I would prefer to not change the list layout on the entire sc_req_item table.

Right now, my best option is an accompanying KB article that describes to the end user (fulfiller) how to configure/customize the list layout of the related list themselves (via the gear cog icon)...but I would prefer it to have a nice "default" for their purpose as the user data record for this custom app does not concern most of the details of the catalog items which are contained in this list...but some of the information is important and this related list is intended to serve as a "quick visual reference" to that information, for the fulfillers using this app.

I've tried to follow the directions for configuring the layout/view of reference field popups - by way of the "Related Lists" tab on the UI Views record for "sys_ref_list"...but its not very intuitive and I'm fumbling around there with no success - I added "sc_req_item" on that tab (see below)...but the record which I created seems to be a way for me to add a related list to a reference list popup, rather than the layout/view of a related list itself...I feel like I'm "barking up the wrong tree".
