The Mechanical Association of NERIST (MAN) represents the pinnacle of collaborative efforts by esteemed professionals in the field of mechanical engineering. Comprising faculty, students, and staff from the Mechanical Engineering department, MAN’s creation was driven by a commitment to foster the latent talents and abilities of its students. The association’s activities to date have been a testament to its multifaceted impact.

Annually, MAN orchestrates a diverse array of events, maintaining a tradition that continued robustly last year. The sequence began with group discussions (GDs), an open competition that engaged a broad student base. Beyond GDs, MAN adeptly organized seminars aimed at enhancing student welfare.

During SHRISTI, NERIST’s Techno fest and a highlight event, MAN took center stage, demonstrating its dynamic capabilities through a variety of contests such as design challenges, boatotrix, robotrix, and robogolf. These events captivated the entire NERIST community, drawing enthusiastic participation from students and even leading to a scarcity of construction materials due to the overwhelming response.
