We welcome applicants from both within our research area, and from different scientific backgrounds. Diverse, skillful mindsets are truly welcome in our team. Start dates are flexible and can be arranged in advance with the PI (J. Marino). This applies to both postdocs, and students interested in joining the UB graduate program. If a student is a good fit for my research group, I can commit funding to support their studies. The admission decision is ultimately and formally made by the graduate school, but endorsement and guaranteed funding may become important factors in supporting the application.
