Now that you have made a Meroshare account, time to start using it.
When you first login to Meroshare, you will be required to change your password. After that when you login again, you will be required to set a PIN.
The details of your meroshare account will be all provided in the email they have sent you.
"My Details" is where your personal details are found.
"My Shares" shows what shares you have and how they are being used; Pledge, Lockin, Freeze, and Free.
"My Transaction History" shows your history either by Scrips or by Date.
"My Portfolio" shows your portfolio with Latest Transaction Price(LTP) and you can also download a .csv or .pdf version of it.
"My Pledge Share Detail" shows the details of those shares that are pledged.
"My Bank Request" shows your bank account used for cash dividends and it is where you can change the bank account if needed.
"My ASBA" is where you can apply for offerings.
"My Purchase Source" is where you calculate the weighted average cost (WACC) of the share you are selling.
"My EDIS" is where you transfer the shares to the broker.
1.Click "My ASBA" on the sidebar. There will be four tabs - Current Issue, Apply for Issue, Application Report and Old application report. The current issue shows you what offerings are available. Apply for Issue shows what you can apply for. "Application report" shows what you have applied and the "old application report" is those you applied long ago.
2. Click on ''apply for issue", choose the share you are applying for.
3.Fill in the details required and the number of kitta(units) and also the verification PIN you set when logging in meroshare for first time.
4.Check your details are all correct before submitting.
5. You can check your report in the application report.
Through Meroshare - You can check on the report and it will state at the bottom either "Allotted" or "Not Allotted".
Through CDSC website - You will need to select the company and put in your 16 digits BOID.
Through the issuing manager website - Depending on who the issue manager was, you can go to their website and check for it.
You will usually require to calculate the WACC and Purchase Source is where you can do it.
At "My Purchase Source", enter the scrip of the share you sold. Search and find the company and select the share list and proceed. You then need to check the original price of the share that you had purchased and confirm the rate list with the tick on declaration and update.
After which you go to "My EDIS", "transfer shares" and click the share you are transferring. Check the details and "Proceed Next".
*You cannot sell shares through meroshare and demat account, you will require a broker account.
