Each character has eight primary attributes and sixteen secondary attributes which determine its raw potential.
Primary attributes: Strength, Dexterity, Speed, Constitution, Acuity, Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma. Every first level character has a predetermined primary attributes score dictated by its species. These scores are to be considered for almost every action taken in and out of combat e.g. acuity determines how precisely a character sees and hears, constitution determines general health and durability etc.
Secondary attributes come in pairs attached to a primary attribute: explosive-strength, static-strength, sleight, finesse, agility, reflexes, endurance, durability, visual-acuity, aural-acuity, wit, memory, insight, perception, charm and intimidation. They further specify the ability of the player in these attributes e.g. explosive strength is needed to break down a door, static strength is needed to hold a door shut etc.The secondary attributes score is decided by the player who “spends” his primary attributes score and distributes them into its secondary attributes e.g a character with an intelligence of two may then spend two points in wit and/or memory.
Zero is the average/normal attribute score.
