1. 28th September 2024: A Manipuri cultural dance "Thougal Jagoi" is presented in the General Freshers' Day 2024 organized by North-Eastern Hill University Students' Union (NEHUSU).

2. 14th September 2024: "Ice Breaking Session 2.0", an interactive session among the Professors and the students is organized at Science Seminar Hall at 2:00 PM.

3. 08th June 2024: A farewell  programme is held for the outgoing graduates of the session 2022 - 24 / 2020 - 24 at Community Hall, NEHU.

4. 18th November 2023: There is a friendly Football match between NEMSU and NEHUSU at NEHU Ground.

5. 14th October 2023: "Ice Breaking Session 2023", an interactive session among the Professors and the students is organized at NEHUSU Hall at 2:00 PM.

7. Even semester exam schedule for various courses of NEHU has out. More details 

8. For the academic calendar 2022-2023, the 1st semester classes will be continued until 31st March 2023. The classes will be conducted both offline and online, with online classes taking place on Saturdays and holidays. The semester examination for the 1st semester will be held from 1st April to 14th April 2023. After the completion of the examination, the following semester will commence on 15th April 2023. 9. 15th March 2023: Last date for the Examination Registration in UMS portal and the portal is open till midnight.  More detail 

10. 2nd March 2023: A cultural exchange programme is going to held for Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) - YUVA SANGAM at Community Hall, NEHU, 5:00 PM.

11. 27th February 2023: The university will remain closed on account of General Election of Meghalaya Legislative Assembly 2023. More detail

19. 2nd November 2019: Ningol Chakkouba will be observed at Science Seminar Hall, NEHU at 11:30 AM.

20. 26th September 2019: A manipuri cultural dance is performing at NEHU Multi Use Convention Hall organised by the Tourism Department in relation to World Tourism Day Celebration.

21. 14th September 2019: NEMSU organised a Freshers' meet cum NEHU Meitei picnic programme at Wei Sawdong and Dain-Thlen Waterfalls.
