NEMO self-catering Lodge

where guests become friends

 Nemo is a self-catering Lodge with 6 Chalets, 1 on suite Cottage and 1 family Cottage with 2 bedrooms. We have a 7x7m swimming pool, ablution blocks and a fully equipped communal kitchen.

We speak, English, German , Swiss-German and French.

Sodwana Info.

Mbazwana, our closest town is 5km away from Nemo Lodge, it has FNB ATM's and a Capitec bank, Spar, Tops, Boxer, Clicks and many other shops you will find in the shopping mall. Mbazwana has 2 fuel filling station that are manned 24 Hrs. 

Beach driving.

Beach driving is permitted in Sodwana on the Northern Beach.

This stretch of beach is 2km which is for day visitors and only 190 vehicles are permitted on the beach on any given time.

Great care must be taken to adhere to legislation: of staying off the vegetation, driving on dedicated area's, driving within demarcated area's, etc.

Climate.

Here at Sodwana we have a tropical climate with beautiful hot, sunny days, and pleasant night temperatures.

Rainfall is usually in summer with occasional afternoon storms. 

Electricity.

Our power source is supplied by Eskom. It is 220V and utilises a 3 pin 16 amp socket.

Thunder and lightning are the most common causes for power failure in our region.
For your comfort, Nemo has a generator in case of power failure. 

Water.

Our water gets supplied by the municipality and it's safe to drink and to cook with.

In addition, Nemo also has a borehole which supplies water.

Communication.
All cellular providers have signal in Sodwana. 

Entertainment.

Local activities include micro lighting, deep sea fishing, shore angling, game viewing and quad bike adventures.

The largest freshwater lake, Lake Sibaya is also on our doorstep 15Km away.

Here you can see hippos and crocodiles in their natural environment.
