Hello there! My name is Cassandra Ruiz- I'm a self-taught, Digital and Traditional Artist from South Jersey. I plan on pursuing art in all sorts of forms. Some career/job ideas I have in mind include becoming a professional Animator, Illustrator, Character Designer, Author, Tattoo Artist, Art Therapist, Free-Lance Artist, and so much more! The realm of art is open to so much, and I would be more than happy to pursue in multiple of these titles when given the chance.

I have started studying at Rowan University to earn my BFA in Studio Art with Concentrations in Animation, Illustration and Honors Studies, along with a Certificate of Undergraduate Study in Creative Writing just last fall. In addition, I have studied in various art courses both in my high school and in local universities, institutions and colleges. These institutions include The University of the Arts and Moore College of Art & Design.

Ever since I was little, I have always adored and loved drawing. Whether it involved characters from my favorite pieces of media or characters I created, I always considered myself a person with a creative and innovative mind. This hobby has helped drive my passion to pursue my artistic skills as a career.
