Our team is comprised of 12 employees from different departments and backgrounds. For the past year, we have been working collaboratively with residents, other City of Oklahoma City employees, community organizations, and local businesses.
By putting residents at the center of designing and testing new ideas, we endeavor to expand the City’s ability to think outside of the box and more effectively tackle challenging problems.
The City has more than 4,500 employees who work each day to deliver services to our residents. The concept of innovation isn't something that has been absent inside the City's 22 departments. Over the years City employees have proven their dedication to finding new and creative ways to solve problems.
The Innovation Team reflects that mindset and brings together employees from various backgrounds, expertise and departments.
Our goal is to learn new methods to discover, create and implement ideas while expanding the culture of creativity, innovation and engagement across departments.
