As a first-generation college student and Afghan American woman, I am passionate about cultivating spaces in academia that are inclusive and generative for all students. I also value conducting and supporting community-engaged research, which I have engaged through my ongoing work at the Swearer Center for Public Service and previous work at the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice.
