The DEPDev VIII On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program is an immersive, hands-on training initiative designed to equip participants with practical skills and real-world experience in the field of economic development and planning. The program targets students who aspire to contribute to national development through comprehensive training and exposure to key economic processes and policies.

Please be dressed in appropriate office attire (smart attire). The OJTs may also wear their school uniform or the attire required by the university.
Wear your school IDs at all times.
Working Days and Hours
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
OJTs are required to attend the flag raising every Monday at 8:00 AM and flag lowering ceremony every Friday at 5:00 PM.
Lunch Break
OJTs are entitled to a period of time for lunch, 12:00 NN to 1:00 PM, but not to exceed 1 hour.
Log-out in the morning and log-in in the afternoon are required.
However, all clients who are within office premises prior to the end of official working hours are attended to and served even during lunch break.
Salary
No salary is provided for OJTs.
Rendering of overtime is not allowed.
OJTs shall submit a duly accomplished and signed waiver form prior to any travel outside the office.
Smoking
Penalty:
First Offense: Suspension for 1 month and 1 to 6 months
Second Offense: Dismissal
Drinking Alcoholic Drinks and Engaging in Gambling Activities
DEPDev officials and employees are prohibited from taking alcoholic drinks and engaging in gambling activities within and outside of NEDA premises during office hours or within the NEDA premises after regular office hours
Penalty:
First Offense: Reprimand
Second Offense: Suspension of 1 to 30 days
Third Offense: Dismissal
Downloading of Videos
Downloading of videos for personal use is not allowed.
Using Office Telephone for Personal Use
Using office's telephone for personal use is not allowed.
