PLAYLIST is a compelling dance-theatre work exploring the state of feminisms in pop culture and music today. Full of suburban dreams and pop star fantasies, it is a call to action about the critical issues of our times.
Living in the #MeToo world, PLAYLIST explores the experiences, ideas and power of young women and asks, ‘who is going to shape the future for women in Australia?’
PLAYLIST received a Helpmann Nomination for Best Visual or Physical Theatre Production, 2019.

Technology is now sophisticated enough to write poetry and enter into intelligent dialogue with humans - but what is the role of machines in the creative process? Masters, servants, or just a different set of tools? R+J RMX is a performance work that was developed using Omelia, a revolutionary new technology that enhances collaboration and creativity in story development.
Originally built for film-makers and games designers, Omelia draws on connections within any given narrative to create almost-infinite permutations of a script. Together with some of the best dancers and performance creatives in Australia, Omelia pulls apart the classic story of Shakespeare’s doomed lovers, and asks us to reflect on the power of new technology and how it might influence the future of creativity.

This After Dark event explores what it means to belong in a multicultural society such as Australia. Creative practitioners will explore and interpret the concept of belonging through discussion and performance, questioning how the concept of identity and belonging has changed over time. Who was, is and will be considered an outsider, and who is ‘allowed’ to belong?
Lean in and learn; you’re about to be challenged by Australia’s ultimate pub quiz, fondly known as The Australian Citizenship Test. Join Neda, quiz master and proud Government rep, ready to answer your questions or question your answers about what it really takes to be a true blue, fair dinkum Aussie, and why it’s absolutely crucial to know what animals sit on the coat of arms.

The stars are no longer twinkling in the sky and we need your help to sing them back to shine more brightly than ever! In this participatory performance, families connect across cultures through the simple beauty of lullabies. Children dance, sing, and play in a magical, twilight-inspired installation space representative of a multicultural neighbourhood.
Tahlila: Lullaby Under the Stars is an interactive musical performance for children under 2 with their families. The show is built around a narrative of the stars in the sky disappearing because of a lack of joyful song from Earth.

With the Açai business booming, ‘3 Brothers Açaí’ is eager to take over their lease. But with strange occurrences and mounting chaos around the salon, it becomes clear that nothing is as it seems.
