The Northeastern Army

The Northeastern Army is the primary infantry fighting force of the Northeastern Commonwealth, and is one of the 6 main branches of the Department of Defense. The Army is organized into 10 Infantry Fighting Forces and 2 Infantry Support Groups, each bearing a name of a province/territory(s) within the Commonwealth and is headquartered in that respective province (ex: New Netherlands 3rd Infantry Fighting Force).

3. New Netherlands 3rd Infantry Fighting Force

4. Maine 4th Infantry Fighting Force

5. Vermont 5th Infantry Fighting Force

6. Adirondack 6th Infantry Fighting Force

7. Amherst 7th Infantry Fighting Force

8. Nova Scotia 8th Infantry Fighting Force

9. Saint Lawrence 9th Infantry Fighting Force

10. Bennington Island 10th Infantry Fighting Force

11. Virgin & Lucaya 11th Infantry Support Group

12. Leeward Islands 12th Infantry Support Group

There is no designated speciality for each Infantry Fighting Force, but some IFFs have a higher concentration of specific speciality units based on their location and culture. For example, Adirondack and Amherst have a lot more units dedicated to mountainous combat, Maine has a lot more pathfinding and tracking units, and Massachusetts has a larger concentration of units trained for Infantry Naval Combat & Landings. The  Army does not hold any major mechanized or calvary components under it's command.

The Northeastern Air Defense Force is the air superiority branch of the Commonwealth Armed Forces, operating attack, reconnaissance, and bombing aircraft.

Mechanized Defense Command

The Mechanized Defense Command organizes calvary divisions, artillery batteries, airlift operations for infantrymen, and heavily specialized ground attack equipment.

Northeastern Defense Medical Corp

Responsible for medical care in the field and for running hospitals on military installations. 

Defense Logistics Command

The Defense Logistics Command works to make sure every base, military location, and solider is supplied and properly taken care of during their time in the military, working with supplies, weaponry. The DLC is also responsible for moving goods from location to location and operates the majority of Commonwealth Armed Forces cargo planes.
