About NDE & TNTP

The Nebraska Department of Education has partnered with TNTP to deliver professional learning for educators across the state focused on learning acceleration and increasing students' access to four key resources: strong instruction, grade-level assignments, deep engagement, and high expectations. 

As students, teachers, and leaders re-calibrate after an incredibly difficult couple of years, the inequities that existed before the pandemic will likely seem starker and more pronounced. We have a unique opportunity to disrupt inequitable systems that have held students back from reaching their potential by zooming in on what we can control for and strategically improve in the classroom.

Through this three-year partnership, NDE and TNTP are excited to share tangible, concrete practices that can be implemented and monitored to ensure every student is receiving the education they deserve.
