Short Bio:
I am an assistant professor in the Industrial Engineering and Management faculty in the Technion since September 2020.
I was a postdoc fellow at LIONS at EPFL under the guidance of Prof. Volkan Cevher, studying methods and theory related to machine learning problem, and held a postdoc position at Tel-Aviv university, working under the guidance of Prof. Marc Teboulle on various methods for non-convex models. I completed my PhD on block-type methods for non-convex constrained problems, and my M.Sc. on the minimization of smooth functions over sparse symmetric sets, under the supervision of Prof. Amir Beck at the Technion. I have a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management, and a B.A. in Economics, both from the Technion. My research interests include first order methods, random methods, stochastic methods, online learning, and non-convex problems.
