Q2. Are international students allowed not to get the health insurance in Taiwan?

It is compulsory for anyone who plans to stay in Taiwan for more than four months to apply and pay for the health insurance. The premium is NTD$ 749/month.

Yes, you can apply for TA/RA jobs depending on availability of jobs in respective departments.

Q6. Are there any on-campus jobs for international students?

Yes, there is some part-time work in campus. Please contact department offices or faculties.

Q7. When do the International students know whether they have received the scholarship?

The Admission Office of NCYU will inform you of NCYU scholarship. As for the Taiwan Scholarship, applicants have to give interview in your country at Taiwan Embassy. The Taiwan Scholarship committee will evaluate your application.

Q8. Which scholarships International students can apply?

Q9. How to receive authentication of my diploma and transcript?

Please contact Taiwan embassy or representative office in your/nearby country. "Ministry of Foreign Affairs"( http://www.boca.gov.tw/np.asp?ctNode=788&mp=2 ).

Usually you need to have your diploma and transcript notarized by your country first, and then bring the certified documents to Taiwan embassy or representative office for authentication.

All international students are strongly encouraged to provide proof of English language ability. The following certificates are suggested.

The Admission Office will contact students and inform applicants of admission status.

All international students can check information at the website, https://www.ncyu.edu.tw/enroll/gradation.aspx?site_content_sn=12035.
