NC Rhododendron 10K Run

The 48th Annual Rhododendron 10K Run will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 8:30 am. There is also a  1-mile walk that starts at 8:00 am. Both courses begin at Gouge Primary School, 134 Laurel Street, in Bakersville. Find more race info here! 

10K entry fees are $25 with pre-registration postmarked by June 8th. $35 race-day registration. Race-day registration is open from 7 am until 8 am. 

SFTC K&Q Event - $1 discount to SFTC Members.

Entry forms are available at Charles E. Vines Bakersville Town Hall or Bakersville Area Welcome Center and online at this link.

1-mile entry fees are $10 with pre-registration postmarked by June 8th. $15 race-day registration. Race-day registration 7am until 8am.

There are NO REFUNDS. Dry blend performance t-shirts to all pre-registered; race-day while supplies last.

Limitations: Unregistered runners, unauthorized vehicles, roller blades, baby joggers/strollers, wearing headphones, running with dogs are strictly prohibited on the course in order to insure runner safety and to comply with liability insurance requirements.

Course: USA T&F Certified 10 kilometer, our and back loop course. Moderately fast.

Splits & Aid Stations: Splits will be called, Aid stations will be positioned on the course.

Facilities: Restrooms available before and after the race. No showers available.

*Overall winners are not eligible for age-group awards.

Age Divisions: 

10K: top 3 M & F, 19 and under; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 and over. 

1 Mile: 1st overall M/F; 1st M/F 12-under, ribbons to all finishers.
