Our Living Shorelines Academy is offered by Carteret Community College. This program provides learners with a strong foundation to design and install their own Natural Shoreline projects.

We compile the latest research in coastal shoreline stabilization.  From trends to tips, we connect you with the science behind natural shorelines. 

Through partnerships with state agencies and non-profits, the NC  Living Shoreline Academy intends to spotlight cost-share opportunities and help you learn shoreline stabilization options for your property!

We are creating a network of environmental professionals, shoreline property owners, managers, and academics to support each other.  We need you to help grow our network!
