Appreciation to our contributors, past, present and future!

We are deeply indebted to the following people, among others, who have embraced our efforts to bring a more balanced set of resources to teachers nationwide. Their encouragement, as well as their generosity with materials and suggestions, have literally made it possible to construct these pages. Of course, it is impossible to overestimate the influence of others whose work was done in past generations or whose foundational works have been directly and indirectly cited by our current contributors.

As stated, our goal is to bring some items together here that will make it possible and reasonable for every educator to incorporate information about the contributions of African Americans to the history and progress of the profession and acknowledge the influence of classical education on a wider group of African Americans in varying fields. We plan to continue to enlarge this shared resource and ask for your ongoing support and involvement.

NB: A New Materials Submission Form for Intersections is HERE.  Or simply contact us at  nclgcommittee@gmail.com.

NB: Our initial contributors are listed with current school affiliations in 2023-2024

New collaborators will be listed with affiliations at the time of time of their contribution.
