Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Resources

The NCLG welcomes

you to our

Diversity, Equity,

and Inclusion Resources

Breaking Barriers and Extending Horizons:

Using Teaching Methods and Materials

That Support Inclusivity and Social Justice

The National Committee for Latin and Greek strives to offer some key ideas for an overview of every educator’s need to understand the biases and oppression of our own pedagogical and cultural history and work to present language and culture in a way that teaches respect, leads to accurate historical perspectives, builds inter- and intra-cultural competence, and values and supports the identity and contribution of every student and colleague.

We personally and professionally

reject all forms of

exclusion, white supremacy,

and racism.

On each page, we offer some introductory  remarks or reflections, plus a list of selected resources on issues of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.  Many more resources are available on these websites we are highlighting, and we encourage readers to explore these websites thoroughly. Some websites also offer resources that cross over into multiple topics.

Our pages are a work in progress,

being updated regularly.

We welcome news of other

important resources and emerging websites

relevant to our purposes here.

These resources are meant for teachers and educators and should be shared with undergraduates and K-12 students with careful consideration of their age and the nature of the content.  Since our pages are being updated constantly, we encourage you to check back regularly and see the most recent entries. We welcome any news of other resources and emerging or important resources that we have not listed. Because we reference some websites that are actively maintained by other organizations or groups who add or change content daily, our recommendation is only for the specific items we have listed here.  If you have any concerns about a listing or website, please contact us
