Just like you saw in our story, this was our humble start. Small shabby planters that weren't growing much either. Sure we had a bit of garlic, strawberries, and flowers, but it was small and we weren't able to produce much either.
Slowly but surely, 2023 became a year of change, more awareness was spread, and the gears slowly started to turn within the club, expanding, turning into a working machine that grew and grew! However, there were many baby steps to take first.
These were some of the first planters that were made near the end of the school year. This was a time when most of us still didn't really know what we were doing.
The club was slowly gaining momentum, but the soil quality, supplies, plants, were not great, along with the club not having access to many tools.
Despite all these setbacks, our perseverance is what led to us to thrive in the following years.
As we entered summer of 2024, we were able to start and continue many things.
This included not just a watering plan for the trees, but for all the crops we had planted months prior.
We were also able to start community gardens, the picture on the right being an example of how far we'd come in just a single year, and how we as a club would continue to be able to do amazing things.
