Incontro INdAM - Cortona 2024
Noncommutative Geometry and Applications
24-28 June 2024, Cortona, Italy
The conference will be devoted to several aspects of the current research activity in Noncommutative Geometry and its applications to various areas of mathematics and mathematical physics. It will bring together specialists from several fields such as functional analysis, spectral geometry, index theory, homological algebra, K-theory, Hopf algebras and quantum groups, gauge theories.
The conference has both pedagogical aims (with a five hour mini-course) and research aims (with a series of seminars). The mini-course will be on "Spectral Truncations in Noncommutative Geometry and Operator Systems", held by Walter D. van Suijlekom.
The conference will take place at the Palazzone of the Scuola Normale Superiore, in Cortona (AR). Due to the limited space available, participation in the conference is by invitation only.
