In addition to our PTA Facebook Group, there is a Facebook Group for each grade level. This will allow you to connect with other parents and remind each other about upcoming events.
Q: What is PARP?
PARP stands for Parents As Reading Partners. The NYS PTA Pick A Reading Partner program (known as PARP) is a program for every school and PTA. The main objective is to encourage reading together, something that is important for everyone! Learn more here: New York State PARP
Q: If I was a member last year, do I have to join again on the member hub?
YES. You have to pay for your membership every year.

Q: How does someone become a part of the NCE PTA Executive Board?
The board members are volunteers who are elected into their positions. There are also volunteer opportunities within your membership that you do not have to be voted into (i.e. Spirit Wear Squad, Fundraising, Committees).
Q: What does my paid membership allow me to do?
Your membership allows you to have a voice in your children's school. Your PTA dues go toward assemblies, special events, beautification of the hallways, and more! All for the children.
Q: How can I support the PTA? I want to help but I'm not sure how.
There are so many ways to support the PTA, from becoming a member to chairing a committee and everything in between. If you are interested in learning more, fill out the PTA Interest Form , and we will help connect you with different opportunities.
Q: Will the PTA meetings be streamed using Zoom again this year?
