Neural Circuit Dynamics Lab

We are a group of enthusiastic scientists trying to understand one of the most complicated creation of nature which is the brain. We are interested in understanding how sensory experiences transform into cognitive maps in the brain and also why do they disrupt in certain mental disorders like Alzheimer's Disease. We use a variety of tools to approach our questions comprising of in vivo (highthroughput unit recordings and whole-cell recordings), in vitro (whole-cell recordings) and in silico techniques. To test our hypothesis we use different mouse models and the sense of smell.
