RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT), an Institute with a difference, is an esteemed Institution established in the year 2001 by our beloved Chairman Dr. R N Shetty, a well-known industrialist, philanthropist, and an educationalist. Currently, the Institution is led by our beloved Managing Director, Shri. Satish R Shetty.

RNSIT is built on the sprawling 160 acre clean green campus managed by a highly committed, proactive, and compassionate management with a mission to impart high quality engineering education, enabling graduates to excel in their career. The Institution offers Eight UG, Four PG Programs. Nine Departments have been recognized by VTU as Research and Development Centers.

All departments are having highly qualified, committed, and dedicated teaching faculty. Over 42% of the faculty members are pursuing Ph.D. and 26% are doctorates. RNSIT is rated as one of the best teaching institutions by the public. One of the best components of RNSIT is its Training and Placement Department with a committed team holding a record of 98% placements. The Institution works with a number of innovative methods in administration, services, and teaching. The Institution is consistently bagging University ranks and Gold medals in both UG & PG programs.
