Hero (Billy), Matron (Abby), Ingenue (June), Villain (Jitter)
The Ingenue is typically an endearingly innocent girl or young woman. She is viewed as beautiful, kind, and gentle. The ingenue is often in some sort of emotional or physical danger, thus relying on the hero to save her. In Musical of Musicals, our ingenue June's danger is: she can't pay her rent.

The Hero
The Hero is usually a masculine figure who, when faced with adversity or danger, will always be determined to tackle it head-on. The Matron is the older, wiser woman the ingenue can always go to for advice and comfort. She is usually seen as nurturing, but can provide a much-needed reality check to the ingenue every so often. Abby, Musical of Musicals's matron, is always offering some "helpful" words to June.
