Proposal Submission Guidelines:
The Conference Planning Committee invites proposals for the 25th Annual National Cross-Cultural Counseling and Education Conference for Research, Action, and Change (NCCEC). This conference aims to bring together scholars, practitioners, and students to explore innovative, interdisciplinary strategies and research with a focus on social justice advocacy and community building. We are seeking submissions for 50-minute educational sessions and graduate student poster sessions.
Major Topics Include:
Identity Development (i.e., racial, ethnic, gender, sexual orientation, spiritual/religious, and ability)
Majority Privilege and Social Group Impact
Cultural and Ethical Competencies in Counseling, Supervision, and Education
Anti-Oppression/Anti-Racism
Social Justice, Social Advocacy, and Social Action
Racial and Cultural Issues in Community, School, and Higher Education Settings

Presentation Format Options:
Educational Session Proposals (50-Minute Sessions) We invite proposals for 50-minute educational sessions that focus on innovative practices, research findings, and theoretical advancements related to the conference topics in counseling, social work, psychology, education, and related fields. Sessions should aim to be interactive and provide practical takeaways for participants.
Graduate Student Poster Sessions We encourage graduate students to submit proposals for poster presentations showcasing their research or innovative practices related to social justice in counseling, social work, psychology, education, and related fields. This is an excellent opportunity for students to present their work, receive feedback, and network with professionals in the field.

Learning Objectives: List 3 specific and measurable learning outcomes for participants.
