Each camper (youth and adult) is expected to follow the standards set forth in the For the Strength of Youth (FSY) pamphlet published by the church while at camp.
In addition, camp specific rules include:
Never put another camper or yourself in danger with your actions
Follow safety guidelines for each activity precisely
When assigned a buddy, care for that person's safety like your own
Treat others (adults and youth) with respect at all times
Mobile devices will be allowed, but may be confiscated by an adult if they become a major distraction, safety hazard, or are used inappropriately"
*Mobile devices: we suspect (and hope) that the boys will spend a majority of the camp off of their devices. However, we do understand the benefit of the boys being able to check in with parents, etc. We encourage parents to speak with their young men about the benefits of disconnecting from their devices prior to camp. As adult leaders, we will not have capacity to monitor every young man's device use 24/7. We will do our best to council with the young men if we notice that devices are becoming a problem before taking any action. If you have any specific requests regarding device usage for your camper(s), please let us know.
Repeated and/or serious failure to abide by the code of conduct may result in dismissal from camp. Parents are responsble for traveling to camp to retrieve dismissed campers.
