Nazlena Mohamad Ali: a senior research fellow and an Associate Professor at the Institute of Visual Informatics (IVI), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She received her PhD from Dublin City University, Ireland, in 2009. Her primary research interest is Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). She is involved with several research projects related to the study of UI/UX, including developing interactive systems and mobile applications, persuasive technologies and designs, and digital games for specific target users, such as older adults, among many others. She has published over 100 papers from multiple journals/proceedings and is an active technical paper reviewer and international conference program committee member. She has completed her role as the principal supervisor for more than 13 PhDs and 14 master's by research students. She has been working at UKM since 1999.
She is currently Head of the INTERAKSI (Intelligent Human-centered Extended Reality & System Integration) Research Group at IVI.
