I embarked on my teaching journey in 2014 with a solid foundation, completing the ICELT professional course from SPELT-Cambridge, Pakistan, driven by a belief in delivering quality education. Before stepping into the classroom, I sought to refine my skills, ensuring I was prepared to make a lasting impact. My first class was with grade 2, and as I grew, so did my teaching repertoire—progressing to grade 5, then grade 7, and eventually specializing in O and A Levels.
Beyond school teaching, I embraced education and training as my true passion. I ventured into TESOL teaching with Eureka, followed by IELTS, PTE, and CAE preparation courses with ICD. Recognizing the need for impactful professional development, I expanded my horizons as a freelance trainer, launching my own short courses and training programs. My first-ever training course, Teaching Poetry, was a milestone, held at Movenpick Karachi, setting the stage for future initiatives.
Through dedication and continuous growth, I remain committed to inspiring learners and educators alike, transforming challenges into opportunities for excellence.
Learning isn't just about gaining knowledge from renowned institutions; it's also about what you gain from your colleagues and peers. English Whisperer is a team of inspirational educators who have been sharing their experience and knowledge with their peers and colleagues
From the bustling classrooms of the Beaconhouse School System to the global stage of English language training, my journey as an educator has been one of passion, innovation, and growth. Since August 2018, I have been privileged to teach IGCSE O/A Levels, where I introduced project-based learning to foster critical thinking and collaboration among students. Recognizing the diversity in learner profiles, I customized lesson plans to ensure every student could thrive. By revising the IGCSE/O-Level curriculum to align with global standards and integrating technology into assessments, I created dynamic, engaging learning environments that prepare students for the future.
But my story doesn’t begin there. As a Freelance Trainer since 2014, I’ve designed and delivered courses tailored to unique learner needs. From developing targeted copywriting courses that enhance writing and marketing skills to conducting training sessions in Business Communication, ICT Skills, Poetry Teaching, and Early Childhood Education (ECCE), I have shared my expertise far and wide. My passion for creative writing also led me to author professional blogs on topics like career guidance, parenting, and literary skills—connecting with a global audience.
Between 2017 and 2019, I took on the role of a TESOL-TEFL Trainer, crafting internationally aligned curricula that cater to learners across the spectrum. My workshops went beyond traditional teaching by emphasizing core language skills such as reading, writing, speaking, and listening, alongside advanced topics like grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. These experiences enriched my ability to lead interactive and communicative teaching strategies.
During my tenure as an English Language Instructor at the Institute of Career Development (ICD) (April 2017 to November 2018), I focused on preparing students for high-stakes exams like IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, and Cambridge Advanced English (CAE). My work also involved conducting comprehensive teacher training programs in TEFL and business communication, mentoring educators to elevate their teaching practices.
Each chapter of my journey has been a testament to my dedication to learning and teaching. Whether it’s empowering students with the tools to express themselves or equipping teachers with strategies to inspire, I am driven by the belief that education has the power to transform lives.
