Nazatul Haque Sultan, PhD

I am currently working as a Research Scientist at the Distributed Systems Security (DSS) group at CSIRO Data61, Australia. Prior to this position, I worked as a Senior Consultant in the Cyber Architecture, Engineering & Emerging Technology (AEET) Team at EY, Sydney. Additionally, I conducted my postdoctoral research from November 2019 to May 2022 and was associated with both the Advanced Cyber Security Engineering Research Centre (ACSRC) at the University of Newcastle and the Distributed Systems Security (DSS) group at CSIRO Data61, Australia. Before that, I served as a Research and Development Engineer in the RST Department at Télécom SudParis, Institute Polytechnique de Paris, France from April 2019 to September 2019. Earlier, I held the position of Senior Research Fellow in two Govt. of India sponsored R&D projects in India. 

I earned my PhD from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati, India in November 2019. Prior to that, I completed my Master of Technology (M. Tech.) in Information Technology in 2014 from Tezpur University, India, and my Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering in 2012 from Dibrugarh University, India. 

During my Ph.D. studentship, I had the privilege of being selected twice as a visiting research scholar at the University of Newcastle, Australia from June 2018 to September 2018 and at Télécom SudParis, France from November 2017 to January 2018.

My research interests include Applied Cryptography,  Searchable Encryption, Cloud-IoT-Network Security, Privacy, and Access Control
