I earned my Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, where I worked under the supervision of Dr. Chayan Kanti Nandi in the School of Basic Sciences. My doctoral research focused on engineering nanomaterials for cutting-edge microscopy platforms, including Single-Molecule Fluorescence Microscopy and Super-Resolution Microscopy.
My academic background includes an M.Tech in Computational and Systems Biology from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, where I explored small protein folding using Monte Carlo simulations under Prof. Pradipta Bandhopadhyay. I also hold an M.Sc. in Physics and a B.Sc. in Electronics, Physics, and Mathematics from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, UP, India.
Professionally, I have contributed to several research initiatives:
As a Junior Research Fellow on a DBT-sponsored project focused on molecular chaperone-mediated protein folding using Single-Molecule FRET, where I developed a custom-built single-molecule spectroscopy and imaging setup.
As a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) with the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Government of India.
As a Physics faculty member at the School of Engineering, Jaipur National University, from January 2013 to February 2014.
My work bridges fundamental science and technology development, with a strong interest in interdisciplinary research, optical instrumentation, and molecular biophysics.
