The observation spot is at a small open space hidden among the trees.

Tour schedule
First, gather at Ecotone!
From there, we’ll head to the secret small open space surrounded by the forest with the staff's vehicle (about 20 minutes by car).

Arrival at the observation point.
Look up, and you’ll find a sky full of stars!
Slip into a sleeping bag, lie back on the earth, and enjoy this natural planetarium accompanied by the guide’s explanations.

In the second half, use a telescope to view even the faintest stars clearly and up close.
With a warm drink in hand, let’s dive deeper into the world of the night sky.

We’ll head back to Ecotone (about 20 minutes by car).

Please note that moonlight can affect stargazing conditions.

Please note that the schedule may shift slightly depending on sunset time and weather conditions. If any changes occur, we will contact you in advance. Also, if you have plans before or after the tour, please let us know ahead of time.

13 years old or older: ¥3000 4 - 12 years old: ¥1500
Children under 4 years old cannot participate.
Participants in junior high school or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please note that the capacity may vary depending on the date.
Meeting point
Naturetour & Guesthouse Ecotone
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time.
Pick-up within Matsuzaki Town is also available.
What to wear and what to bring
Warm clothing (knit hat, scarf, gloves, winter jacket, etc.)
Although you will be inside a sleeping bag during the tour, winter temperatures in Matsuzaki can sometimes drop below freezing. Please come dressed warmly.
