About Me

Dr Elena Mayorga

My name is Elena and I am from Nicaragua but have lived in the UK for over 30 years. I come from a long line of healers; My great-grandfather was a doctor and a community herbalist and healer; my grandma and grandad were herbalists, my mother was a midwife and energy healer; two of my sister's were nurses. Their knowledge and experience has influenced me since my youth in Central America.

I trained as a medical doctor in Nicaragua before coming to the UK. I then completed a Master's in Public Health at the University of Leeds. Following that I worked as a researcher in Aberdeen University before becoming a Community Health Advisor and Public Health Research Officer and Trainer.

I use my medical background along with counseling skills and holistic practices to give my clients a well-rounded approach to healing. I have been practicing Reiki for 20 years and gained my Master Reiki in 2014.

My aim is to heal and empower clients with knowledge and help them find inner peace and potential for a better quality of life.
