천연물학연구실은 데이터베이스 구축을 기반으로 천연물 유래 생리활성물질발굴을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 천연물연구소는 추출, 통합 데이터베이스 분석(IDA)을 이용한 천연 유래 화합물 탐색, 생리 활성 성분 발견, 특히 의약품, 기능성 식품, 화장품을 위한 in vivo 대체 방법 개발에 아낌없는 노력을 기울이고 있습니다. 앞으로 저희 연구실은 Big data와 첨단기술을 적용하여 지속가능한 개발과 사회에 도움이 되는 천연물 유래 의약품 개발을 위해 최선을 다할 것입니다. 감사합니다.

Our goal is to discover the bioactive substances derived from natural plants, organisms, etc., based on the bioinformatics as well as wet lab experiments. 

The lab of natural products has been put effort in exploring crude extracts, natural-derived compounds using Integrative Database Analysis (IDA), discovering bioactive ingredients, and developing alternative methods for in vivo test in Pharmaceutics, Functional Food and Cosmetics specifically.

In the future, our lab is going to develop dedicately the quality natural-origin pharmaceutical products in the strategy of sustainable development and helpful for our society, focusing on the application of big data and high technologies.
