The Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) is one of the most structured and active land forces in the current military landscape. Built upon a strong operational foundation, ROKA balances daily readiness with extensive infrastructure that supports large-scale deployments, logistics, and training. The base features a furnished high-command headquarters, modern barracks, a large airfield with helipads and hangars, vehicle and helicopter fleets, obstacle courses, and transport systems such as road bikes. The group consistently maintains high attendance, with the capability to rally 50–100 members for operations.
ROKA includes several major commands and operational units:
V Corps: A frontline ground unit composed of infantry and armored elements, responsible for large-scale ground engagements and battlefield control.
Capital Defense Command: ROKA’s largest formation, tasked with protecting the national capital and coordinating homefront readiness.
Military Police: Enforces discipline and order within the armed forces, overseeing internal security and base law enforcement.
Special Warfare Command: An elite special forces unit trained in rapid response, infiltration, and high-risk operational tasks.
15th Aviation Group: Provides rotary-wing support, troop mobility, aerial reconnaissance, and transport capabilities.
Training and Doctrine Command: Manages training pipelines, doctrinal education, and force development for all army personnel.
