Dutt from Tripura State in Eastern India, born 14th December 1919, Commandant of the 6th Batallion, Rajputana Rifles, later commanded the 3rd Batallion of the Sikh Regiment. Later still, he commanded the 15th Batallion of the Dogra Regiment and lastly, he commanded the Prince of Wales Own Regiment, later known as the 1st Batallion of the Dogra Regiment, died sp in Simla in April 2004 of heart failure.
Rana DEVESH CHAND 1970/1998, born 25th July 1921, succeeded to the throne on 8th July 1970, married Rajkumari Jayanti Devi [Rani Jayanti Devi of Koti], died 10th March 2010, daughter of Maharaj Kumar Karan Singh of Orchha, and had issue, five children. He died 10th October 1998 at Chandigarh.
