PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: Traditionally, the ancestor of the family was Raja Bir Chand, Raja Saheb of Ajudhia. The state was founded before 1600. It was overrun by the Gurkhas of Nepal from to 1815. In that year they were expelled, and a sanad was issued to the Thakur Saheb confirming him in possession of Mahilog on 4th September 1815. Thakur SANSAR CHAND, Thakur of Mahilog 1801/1849, he fled to Nalagarh when the Gurkhas invaded his state in 1803, and when they were expelled by the British, he received a sanad confirming him as ruler of Mahilog on 4th September 1815. He died 1849.

He died 16th September 1902.

He died in March 1962.

He died 22nd January 2011.
