Thakur Udai Singh, 7th Thakur of Kerote (1893- 1956, born on 4th Oct 1893, succeeded to the estate on 30th Oct 1900 at the age of 7. He was educated at Mayo College Ajmer where he graduated in Administration, Law and State affairs. The estate was managed by the Court of Wards during his minority. He was entrusted with its management in the year 1914 at the age of 21. He was also granted Tazimi by the British Government in 1920. He was authorized the powers of 2nd Class magistrate and Munsiff within the limits of his estate. He married Thakurani Sugan Kanwar of Tapiplia (Sikar) and had issue.
